It is with great pleasure we would like to welcome you to the Warriors Guild. You have chosen a path of honour, courage, commitment, and challenge. If you can survive the trails that lie ahead and stay true to the path, you will do well anywhere you may go. The road is not easy, and your responsibilities will be many. We wish you the best of luck.

May you die with honour,

Chancellor Vermin and the Warriors Guild High Council

Code of Honour:

The Warrior’s Guild core mandate is to achieve greatness and success in the online gaming world through good membership and productive behavior.

All games played within and outside this fleet by our members, and the qualification of all persons competing at such games as members to the fleet, shall be in conformity with the articles, by-laws, regulations, rules and policies of this fleet and with the rules and conditions of competition adopted and prescribed only by the Chancellor of this fleet with assistance from the High Council.

Rules as dictated by sources outside of the Warriors Guild are of limited interest or consequence to the members of the Warriors Guild.  WG maintains the right to govern our affairs with complete sovereignty as a prestigious and well recognized stake holder in the online gaming world.  In short, although we are open to others opinions; we ultimately reserve the right to develop our own.

The Chancellor and the High Council of the Warriors Guild make the assumption that the primary objective of each member is to pursue the overall success of this fleet. No one entity is greater than the whole, with the only exception being the Chancellor himself.  While the fleet environment provides additional opportunities, everyone involved in the Warriors Guild must contribute to make the fleet a positive and supportive environment aligned with Warrior’s Guild core mandate of achieving greatness and success through good membership and productive behavior.

Every member of this fleet must accept that certain standards, or rules, must exist in order for a large group of people to function as a community within a relatively small environment. The Warriors Guild believes that integral to the Code of Honor is an appreciation of the effect of one's personal behavior on others and respect for all members and worthy individuals or organizations of the on-line gaming community. The Warriors Guild strives to appeal to each individual’s and organization’s sense of reason, responsibility and consideration for others. The Warriors Guild promotes the ideal that responsibilities are to be shared by everyone in order to maintain a high standard of cooperation, tolerance, mutual respect and compromise.

Always remember Warriors, despite what our competition may try to convince you of, honour cannot be taken away, it can only be lost.  Your actions will ultimately determine how others view you and this fleet.

In choosing to join the Warriors Guild, each member agrees to live by this Code of Honor, which values and promotes greatness and success in the online gaming world through good membership and productive behavior.

Membership Charter:

Membership shall only be lawfully acquired by application in writing to the WG Admissions Officer, expressing compliance with and adherence to the articles; by-laws, regulations, rules and policies of this fleet.  Membership shall take effect upon the election of the applicant by the Chancellor with the assistance of the High Council.  The level of assistance provided is at the sole discretion of the Chancellor of this fleet.  The Chancellor and the High Council may consult with the members of the fleet (both senior and junior members) concerning the qualifications and suitability of a candidate. However, recognition and elevation remains the sole providence of the Chancellor with the assistance of the High Council.

A member may resign from membership in this fleet, provided such member is in good standing at the time of doing so, by submitting its resignation in writing to the Chancellor of WG.  Upon such resignation becoming effective such member shall forfeit all its rights and privileges and it shall be the duty of the remaining Senior Officers of this fleet to proceed with the organization of a replacement for the duties formerly under the control of the member resigning from this fleet.

Every members cause is to further the greater good and success of WG first and foremost. Keeping in communication with the fleet, knowledge of fleet activities, actively participating and practicing your warrior skills are all key responsibilities.

·          The number of members shall not be limited.

·          Membership shall be immediately revoked should a member reside in a “residence” in addition to WG.  ** “Residence” implies membership with a fleet/clan/gaming association in similar standing or competition with WG.  NOTE:  This rule does not apply to fleets/clans/gaming associations to which WG is not in competition with – i.e. associations that play games that WG does not.

·          Membership in WG is not a right it is a privilege and can be revoked by either the Chancellor of WG or a majority vote of the High Council at anytime.  Revocation of membership can be overturned only by a majority vote of all active members of the High Council.  In the event of a tie occurring in a vote it shall not be considered majority and the ultimate decision of the member’s fate shall be made by the Chancellor.  The Chancellor’s vote will be considered equal to a single member of the High Council in typical voting situations.

·          Should a member’s residence cease with WG, re-admittance to WG will not be considered prior to an 8 month absence.

·          Members of the fleet shall be entitled to wear the badge of WG – no greater honour can exist than to wear this badge.  It shall be worn with pride and honour at all times.  Public displays of discontent with this fleet or her members shall be dealt with in the most harsh of manners.

·          As a member of the WG it is a responsibility to keep aware of fleet affairs and actively participate. Lack of knowledge of said affairs is not viewed as an acceptable excuse.

·          With assistance from Senior Officers and the High Council of this fleet, the Chancellor shall have sole discretion in classifying the rank of all past, current and future members.  The degree of assistance in determining said rank is also the sole discretion of the Chancellor of this fleet.

Fleet Communications:

MSN: This is the primary messenger program used by gamers. It is a requirement that you download and learn to use it. MSN Ids should be exchanged with other members immediately upon membership being granted. If you have questions or concerns, feel free to contact a peer or superior officer in the fleet for advice, our door is always open.
Message Board: The main communications for the whole fleet. Visiting the message board often is not just a good idea, it is required! Everything from fleet announcements, promotions, news, and latest events are posted here. Divisional battle reports also go here. People from outside the fleet are common visitors at our boards; treat them with the utmost respect. And if such a situation happens in which a conflict is to erupt, do not reply. It is better not to say anything. Command will deal with the situation in a timely fashion. Even if the comment is directed at you, keep out of trouble and do not reply. Check the board on a daily basis.
Email: Is used to get a message out to the entire fleet as quickly as possible. Make sure you check your email for important messages from time to time.  It is vital that all members keep their WG profile up to date with the correct information.

THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

In order to secure success in the online gaming community, rules must be put in place in order to prevent unnecessary situations. These rules are as follows:

[1] No individual member, without sufficient approval, may have an army, have a general staff, nor make any military decision that may impact the current standing of the Warriors Guild against an entity in similar standing or competition with the Warriors Guild. Only the joint efforts of the Warriors Guild Chancellor and the High Council may assemble a general staff, make military decisions and direct said staff.

[2] All fleet movements, intelligence, and information belong to the Warriors Guild Chancellor and High Council.

[3] No entity in competition with the Warriors Guild may deploy or withdraw a military unit or personnel of any size for any reason whatsoever within the known borders of the Warriors Guild.

[4] In a state of emergency the entire Warriors Guild Command structure may only take those actions mandated by the Chancellor for Military Interposition. The fleet may only withdraw or deploy units according to the guidelines outlined by the Chancellor in these times of emergency. The Chancellor is the eyes, ears and mouth of the Warriors Guild in all times of emergency.

[5] No entity in competition with the Warriors Guild may have a complete complement of war industries in a position to threaten this fleet.

[6] No entity in competition with the Warriors Guild may conscript or train troops, other than those supplied for continental defence, for the purpose of waging war against the Warriors Guild.

[7] The Warriors Guild military should only be deployed in operations where they have a clear comparative advantage over entities in competition with the Warriors Guild.

[8] Before deployment the mission must be clearly defined, its objectives derived from political policy, the rules of engagement finalized, have a reasonable time frame, as well as a mechanism for the extraction of forces.

Division CO’s and XO’s:

Their duties are to ensure the strength of the fleet. They are responsible for all recruiting, training, and conduct of the men and women under them. They are first in your chain of command. If you have any questions, try to ask them first. If they can not answer your question or did not answer it to your satisfaction, then you may direct it towards a member of the council or the Chancellor himself. CO’s are proven warriors and as such, are held to high standards of responsibility.

CO’s must provide equal training for all members of their division.
CO’s must promote the WG in recruiting efforts and over see the expansion of their division.
CO’s must provide a weekly report of all events in their division both large and small.
CO’s are responsible for the conduct of those under them. CO’s will be held accountable if their subordinates become out of hand. Depending on the situation, this can lead to a simple debriefing of the CO, up to him being relieved of his post for failure to perform to satisfaction in his duties.

Violation of any of these CO guidelines can lead to disciplinary action against the Commanding Officer.

XO’s will assume the role of the CO in his absence. And assist with the CO’s duties when he is present.
